Mike Quandt, is the current mission pastor at Redemption. He was born and spent his childhood in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to becoming a pastor, he met and wed Mary, a south-side Chicago gal. Since then the Lord Jesus has sent Pastor Mike ( a.k.a. "PQ") to teach four years at a Lutheran High School in Minneapolis, to a fourteen year pastoral ministry in Salt Lake City, to a six year professorship at our pastor training graduate school in the Milwaukee area and now to this newest thrilling adventure: to start a church from scratch in St. George, Utah. Along with anchoring their life in Christ, Mike and Mary have enjoyed life with their three great kids: Stephanie, Jackie and Luke.
Pastor Mike loves listening to music … from Mozart to Zeppelin, Perry Como to Kenny Chesney,  Jimmy Buffet to Metallica. He loves baseball, softball, hockey, and golf. Both he and Mary are looking forward to enjoying the natural beauty of southwest Utah. They hope their extended families will come visit St. G often but they also look forward to enjoying life with a family that emerges from this new mission.
